I am a Canadian-Swiss psychologist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Psychology (cum laude) from the University of Leiden and my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Groningen, both in the Netherlands. My qualifications have been formally recognized by the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH), allowing me to practice as a psychologist in Switzerland.
I currently work under supervision while providing counselling, which ensures that I continue to grow professionally and uphold the highest ethical standards in my practice.
My approach is collaborative and grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), complemented by other evidence-based methods. Each treatment is tailored to your individual needs and goals, with the aim of building both insight and practical tools. Additionally, my experience living abroad provides me with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by those with international backgrounds. I empathise with the complexities of adjusting to new cultures and environments, and this experience informs the way I support clients who are navigating cross-cultural transitions.
Most importantly, I strive to create a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where you can safely explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns. My hope is to support you in building confidence, clarity, and a stronger sense of balance in your life.
